TENTANG PERUSAHAAN

Berdiri sejak tahun 1995, PT Prudential Life Assurance (Prudential Indonesia) merupakan bagian dari Prudential plc, London, Inggris. Di Asia, Prudential Indonesia menginduk pada kantor regional Prudential Corporation Asia (PCA), yang berkedudukan di Hong Kong yang mengelola dana mencapai £340 miliar (Rp 4,782 triliun) per 31 Desember 2010. Dengan menggabungkan pengalaman internasional Prudential di bidang asuransi jiwa dengan pengetahuan tata cara bisnis lokal, Prudential Indonesia memiliki komitmen untuk mengembangkan bisnisnya di Indonesia.
Prudential Indonesia adalah pemimpin pasar dalam penjualan produk asuransi jiwa yang dikaitkan dengan investasi (unit link) pertamanya di tahun 1999. Sebagai pemimpin pasar, Prudential Indonesia selalu berusaha untuk menyediakan produk unit link yang dirancang untuk memenuhi dan melengkapi kebutuhan nasabahnya, dalam setiap tahap kehidupan, mulai dari usia kerja, pernikahan, kelahiran anak, pendidikan anak, dan masa pensiun.
Sampai dengan 31 Desember 2010, Prudential Indonesia memiliki 7 kantor pemasaran, yaitu di Jakarta, Bandung, Semarang, Surabaya, Denpasar, Medan, dan Batam dan 219 kantor keagenan (termasuk di Jakarta, Bandung, Yogyakarta, Surabaya, Bali, Batam, dan Medan). Prudential Indonesia didukung oleh lebih dari 85.000 jaringan tenaga pemasaran berlisensi yang tersebar di berbagai daerah di Indonesia, dan melayani lebih dari 1.100.000 nasabah.

Beberapa penghargaan yang diterima Prudential Indonesia selama masa beroperasinya, termasuk di tahun 2011 sampai dengan bulan Januari:
- Top Brand Award 2011 in Life Insurance Category for the second time in a row from Marketing Magazine in cooperation with Frontier Consulting Group.
- Indonesia Most Favorable Brands in Social Media 2010 ininsurance category from SWA magazine, SITTI, and OMG
- Digital Marketing Award 2010 for corporate website in the category of life insurance company from Digital Marketing magazine in cooperation with Survey One of Marketing Group research company.
- Indonesia’s Most Favorite Netizen Brand 2010 for the category of life insurance from Marketeers in cooperation with Mark Plus Insight research company
- Indonesian Customer Satisfaction Award (ICSA) 2010 for the category of life insurance from SWA magazine in cooperation with Frontier Consulting Group research company.
- The Best Syariah Life Insurance 2010 for the category of life insurance companies with assets above Rp 100 billion in the “Investor Best Syariah 2010” from Investor Magazine.
- Service Quality Award 2010. Received “Gold” qualification in “Life Insurance Services” category and “Diamond” qualification in the “Health Insurance Services” category. Award is given by Marketing Magazine in cooperation with Carre CSL.
- Top Brand Award 2010 in Life Insurance Category based on the Top Brand Index 2010 from Marketing Magazine in cooperation with Frontier Consulting Group.
- Marketeers Award: Greatest Brand of the Decade. Editor’s Choice for the life insurance category, sub category of product brands for PRUlink from MarkPlus, Inc in cooperation with Marketeers community.
- Indonesia’s Most Admired Company (IMAC) 2010 award from Bloomberg BusinessWeek Magazine as The Best in Building and Managing Corporate Image in the life insurance category.
- The Best Life Insurance Company in Investor Awards 2010 from Investor Magazine in the category of asset more than Rp10 trillion. Prudential retain the “Star Performer” trophy for winning the category in 8 consecutive years.
- Insurance Award 2010. Top position in the category of “Good Life Insurance” in the sub categories of equity over 250 billion in “Insurance Awards 2010” held by Media Asuransi Magazine.
- The Best Islamic Life Insurance, The Most Expansive Insurance, and The Most Profitable Investment in the Islamic Finance Award 2010 held by Karim Consulting.
